The view is to the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis. From the balcany of the 18th floor condo you can see the new 35W bridge, the Old Stone bridge, and miles of the surrounding scenery.

The drywall was installed by the costractor (Vilen Construction) and was ready for me to finish. The ceilings were also scraped off before I started work prepping them for a hand trowel texture.

As you can see, some of the existing walls were so badly in need of repair my only option was to skim coat large sections before sanding.

The owners, from Rochester, MN, plan to use this condo as a getaway while they visit friends and attend shows at the Guthrie Theatre, just steps away.
